Husband and wife become one flesh in the sexual organs, the place of conjugal union. They are the most holy place of the body, to be treated as a holy temple and palace of true love.

The husband’s sexual organ belongs to his wife. Likewise, the wife’s sexual organ belongs to her husband. No one else can touch there. Therefore, the sexual organs are hidden and kept with modesty.

Husband and wife meet with God in a tremendous explosion of love.

Here, husband and wife meet with God in a tremendous explosion of love. Rev. Moon said that men and women are “kings and queens” of sexual desire. In all creation, yang and yin seek unification, and God-centered man and woman are the crown of creation. The place of unification is the sexual organs. So all our physical and spiritual senses, and all the cells of our body, and even the entire creation and the angels, and even God Himself and God Herself, concentrate on that point. The cosmos resonates with and revolves around this central point of true love. At that point, money, power and knowledge mean nothing. We are the yang and the yin, the Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge at the center of the Garden. Our eighty trillion cells, the stars in the sky, the angels in heaven, are One. Our temperature rises; all diseases are healed.

And God’s image is multiplied.

The sexual organs mysteriously bring forth new life. In them, the husband’s and wife’s blood mingles. Sex is the origin of lineage. In love, God creates new children in His image, male and female He creates them.  In love, husband and wife become parents. In love, God participates as the Heavenly Parent, and we are God-like.

We recapitulate God’s billions of years in our brief life on earth.

God worked for billions of years to create children. We recapitulate God’s billions of years in our brief life on earth. Jesus said “My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.” St. John said “if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him.” In the Holy Marriage Blessing, that which is completed begins anew. The Omega becomes the Alpha, the Last becomes the First, the End becomes the Beginning.
