There are a huge number of refugees in the world today. They emigrate from countries ravaged by war, crime, poverty and famine. Countries in better shape don’t know what to do with the tsunami of people seeking a new life.

A generation ago, God messaged the solution to the world.

With wisdom and love, give your life to liberate the oppressor.

Our True Parents are the answer. They were refugees from North Korea, emigrants to America, where they were an ethnic, racial and religious minority. What’s more, half of them is a woman.

Their solution: be a reverse refugee. Don’t flee the oppression. With wisdom and love, give your life to liberate the oppressor. True Father went back to North Korea as a reverse refugee—in 1946 to embrace the people, and in 1991, to embrace his elder brother. True Parents loved Japan as its government stripped their members of all human rights. They loved America as its media crucified them and its government pretended it didn’t see.

They sent out reverse refugees with empty pockets, to witness, teach, build community, start businesses, start newspapers, build global community for God. They built families across every racial, religious, cultural and national boundary they could find, and challenged the world to follow suit for peace. They scrubbed the boundaries among theologians, clergy, scientists, journalists, professors, you name it. They called for massive migration, continent coalition, industry integration, culture cohabitation.

True Parents knew the score. They wrote the symphony. The world, meanwhile, was trying to find its violins. Rev. Moon, calm down! It’s a new world order, okay? Look, we’re multi-national! Haven’t you heard about multi-culturalism? We’ve got it covered!

Fair enough, but it’s only a foundation for True Parents, and without True Parents it will collapse, just as did every other civilization: pro-family vs. no-family; Jihad vs. McWorld.

True Parents sent reverse refugees from the developed world into the developing world.

Now the turkeys are coming home to roost. Close the borders. Vet the extremists. Nationalism. Sectarianism. Tribalism. Only my peep’s lives matter. Why? Because we are the oppressed.

One member of an oppressed minority, True Mother, recently spoke to American congressional leadership about an organization she started, the International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace. This immigrant refugee is showing the path forward for all the oppressed—rich or poor, black or white, L, G, B or T, border jumper or border guard.

We’ll share her message beginning Friday.
